The following are the policy updates for November 2015:
University Records, Archives, and Publications #1020 – Updated to formally communicate the retention process regarding Blackboard (Bb) related course content. Bb content will be archived after two years and purged after five years. All instructors will have the opportunity to opt out course sites with a term identifier to prevent archive and/or purge for longer periods if preferred. Contact OIT for information on this process.
P-Card #6140 – Revised to remove out-of-date information regarding the University card provider. In addition, related policies were added to link to relevant information for the reader. Finally, the policy reflects that the p-card reconciliation is managed by departments using the online application provided by the University’s bank.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – (DELETED #7130) – Deleted because the EAP is an on-going employee benefit that is explained on the Human Resource Services (HRS) webpages. There is no need for a policy to describe this confidential benefit.
Faculty/Staff Resignation Policy and Procedures (DELETED #7150) – Deleted because it described a procedure for employees departing the university, rather than setting policy. The Human Resource Services website contains the necessary resignation form for voluntary resignation.
